Angle Vale Primary School is located 14 km west of Gawler and 35km north of Adelaide. It caters for around 490 students from Reception to year 7. Angle Vale is a growing community with new housing developments planned. The Northern Expressway now makes Adelaide and the Barossa more accessible to Angle Vale residents. A shopping centre has a range of stores, however access to other services in Angle Vale is somewhat limited. Residents generally access business and employment outside of the town.
The school grounds are very spacious, well kept and attractive. The school community takes great pride in their school.
Angle Vale Primary School grounds and Gymnasium are shared with local sporting groups after hours.
Angle Vale Primary School has a broad range of teaching and learning programs, restorative behaviour development practices and a focus on wellbeing and building partnerships with the whole school community. The school offers Out of School Hours Care and Vacation Care services.
Our values of honesty, confidence and respect are embedded in the school culture. Extra curricula programs include; Choir, Wakakirri, Childrens University and SAPSASA.
The majority of students are of English speaking backgrounds. 9% of students participate in the English as an additional language or dialect (EALD) program , 5% of students are Indigenous Australians, 22% of students are school card holders, and 8% are verified with a disability.
